The Dept of Health approved our COBWEBS child weight management and training programme in 2009 which we are very proud of as our approach is unique and very different to most obesity programmes. As many of you know we place the obese person at the centre of all our work and welcome comments, ideas and suggestions from everyone.
After successfully piloting our 1 & 2 day introductory courses with nurses, teachers, and counsellors we are pleased to announce that this year we will deliver our courses in Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle in both spring and autumn. If you have a group of 6 or more we’ll be happy to come to you or visit you to talk through your training needs if you’re not quite sure of what you need right now. Chatting over coffee is what we do best.
We will also be exhibiting at the Nursing in Practice conference in Manchester in May and hope to see some of you there.
